    The #Cubs’ 10-2 win evened the series at 2-2 and ensured it will move back to Wrigley Field after Game 5 at Dodger Stadium on Thursday. And with the Cubs now owning home-field advantage in what will essentially be a best-of-three series and their offense again appearing like the world-class unit it was all season, they appear the favorite to move on to the franchise’s first World Series since 1945.

  3. THE FIRST PITCH Cubs 6 Pirates 5

    Anthony Rizzo had his second consecutive four-hit game going 8 for 9 and raising his batting average to .299 He’s riding a nine-game hitting streak during which he’s gone 16-for-37 (.432) with four doubles, a triple, two home runs and eight runs scored.

  4. Chicago Machine breaks Big Red Machine

    BORED OF ELECTIONS. Over enthusiastic fans have voted #Cubs ball boy Connor Hobbs into the MLB All-Star game. The seventh grader will be stationed along the right field wall at Petco Park next Tuesday. The flight to San Diego will mark his first time on an airplane, during which he hopes to watch a movie about gladiators.
