1. Arrieta was pulled after five innings, matching his shortest outing of the season.
2. Arrieta’s ERA increased from 0.84 to 1.13 on a day when he struggled with his control.  
3. Arrieta walked four, struck out seven and threw three wild pitches.
4. Four relievers; Trevor Cahill (3) Adam Warren (2) Justin Grimm (2) and Travis Wood (1) followed Arrieta with eight innings of no run ball.
5. Jason Heyward bunted two runners into scoring position and Kris Bryant hit a line drive single to bring both runners in and tie the game up 3-3.
